Our School Day at Fullwood
Here, you’ll find the timings of a normal school day, including the times the children start and finish. Our school day is comprised of six and half hours in school, which mean the children are in school for thirty two and half hours a week (not including additional activities such as enrichment activities, clubs and interventions which are specific to each child)
Our Hours
08:40 – 08:45
School Gates open. There are three entrances available: on Cranbrook Road, in Burford Close and the gate which backs onto the Tesco Carpark at the rear of the school.

Classroom Doors open – we have a ‘soft start’ gradual entry period of ten minutes for all children, allowing them to enter the building calmly and get settled in time for a 09:00 start.

School ends and children are collected from their classrooms
*children who arrive after 9am will have to enter school through the main office and be marked in the register by the office staff
Uncollected Children
Any children who have not been collected by 3:40 pm will be brought to the main office and a member of the office will attempt to contact home from 3:40 pm until 3.50 pm.
At 3.50 pm, the child will be sent down to Shine Club if no contact or prior arrangements have been made. Parents / carers will incur the normal costs of a child attending the after school provision. Please see the information regarding Shine club here: https://www.shineclubs.com
